Menu & Wine
Where Tochigi's season
Courses, pairings and a cellar of around 50 wines.
MODERN SICILIAN
Tochigi's produce,
Sicily's modern hand
Sicily is the largest island in the Mediterranean, off the southern tip of the Italian peninsula. Surrounded by sea, it is rich in fish — and just as rich in what grows on its hills. Its cooking respects what nature provides: simple, ingredient-led, often finished with fruit.
At Angelo Court Tokyo Utsunomiya we hold on to Tochigi's abundant seasonal produce while bringing creative elements into traditional Sicilian dishes. Vegetables and fruit harvested from farms nearby meet the ingredients of Sicily, and something with its own character comes out of the meeting.

Wines from one of
Sicily's defining houses
The Planeta winery was founded by the Planeta family, who have farmed in Sicily for more than 500 years. Diego Planeta, father of the present owners' generation, drove the Sicilian wine renaissance.
The estate began as a new project in 1985, and its first Chardonnay vintage in 1995 drew attention around the world. Made only from selected fruit, with equal care given to yeasts and barrels, these wines carry both the quality and the character of Sicily.
